This Week at St. Gregory's January 21-26, 2020

Holy Eucharist will be said at Watercrest on Wednesday (January 22) at 1pm. 

 

Holy Eucharist will be said Wednesday (January 22) at 6:30pm.

 

The Wednesday night Bible study will follow Wednesday’s 6:30 pm Mass.

 

Choir will practice Wednesday night following the 6:30pm Mass.

 

DHC meets Saturday (January 25) at 10am in the parish hall.

 

Canned Meat collection is Sunday (Jan. 26).  Please bring your canned meat donations for Trinity Presbyterian’s food pantry.

 

The Annual Meeting is Sunday, January 26 following the 9am Mass.  Two people will be elected to serve on the Vestry as Trice Edwards and Theresa Brantley, having served three years, will retire off the vestry.  All registered communicants over 16 years old will have the opportunity to select two parishioners to serve on the vestry.

 

 A Chili Cook-Off will follow the Annual Meeting; bring chili, crackers, cheese, chips, sour cream, dessert, cornbread, or onions – your choice!!

 

The Diocesan Men’s conference is February 7-8 at St. Peter/St. Paul, Arlington.  Go to https://fwmensconference.com/ to register and for more information; registration deadline is February 4. 

 

The Phoenix Academy is looking for volunteers to prepare students for success on February 11, 2020 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon. If interested, contact Tony Casamento (817.266.3876 or tony@casamento.org).

 

The DHC will host a Women's Silent Retreat on February 28th, and 29th, 2020, at Camp Crucis, in Granbury, Texas.  Registration forms are on the credenza in the back of the Church.  Cost is $75; please make your checks payable to St. Gregory's and in the memo line write DHC Retreat.   If you have any question, please contact Bernice Baldwin.
