This Week at St. Gregory's January 14--20, 2019
Tuesday morning’s small group study meets tomorrow (January 15), 10am at the home of Cheri Davis.
Holy Eucharist will be said Wednesday (January 16) at 6:30pm.
Choir will practice Thursday (January 17) at 7pm.
From our discussion in Sunday School, here is an example of Spiritual Gifts Inventory that you can take online, https://gifts.churchgrowth.org/spiritual-gifts-survey/. These can be helpful in guiding you towards ministries that align with your particular gifts but are by no means definitive.
Men’s Group/Study meets Saturday (January 19), 8am, at Rosa’s.
St. Gregory’s Annual Meeting is Sunday, January 20, following the 9am Mass.
2019 Vestry Candidates are James McDuff and Candace Griffin.
Bio for Candace Griffin: I am a native Texan, born in Beaumont and raised in Sour Lake. I am married to Bill Griffin and we will be celebrating 50 years of marriage in July. We have two daughters and three grandchildren. I retired after 25 years of service with the Texas Animal Health Commission. We have been members of St. Gregory since 2005. I have served on the school board and am currently a member of The Daughters of the Holy Cross, St. Clara’s guild and St. Martha’s guild.
2019 Diocesan Delegate Candidate is Cheri Davis.
The Annual Chili Cook Off will follow the Annual Meeting next Sunday. Food Signup sheets are on the back credenza.
2018 Giving Statements are available on the back-church credenza.
The Fort Worth Men’s Conference will be Feb. 8-9. I’d love to have a great turnout from our men this year. For more information go to https://fwmensconference.com/
