This Week at St. Gregory's December 2-8, 2019 Year C
From Co Adjutor Ryan: On Thursday, Dec. 5, at 9 a.m., our legal team will offer Oral Arguments in our defense before the Texas Supreme Court. Bishop Iker and I are asking every member of the Diocese to spend time in prayer – on the evening of Dec. 4 and morning of Dec. 5 – for our legal team, for the Court and Justices, and for God’s provision and protection for our Diocese. St. Vincent's Cathedral will have a Holy Hour of prayer in the chapel at 9 a.m. on Thursday, to coincide with the time of the hearing in Austin; other churches also may wish to open their doors for prayer, at the priest's discretion. Below is a link to some optional prayers for use in these devotions, as well as the names of the
names of the Justices and of our legal defense team. May God bless us and protect us.
The Tuesday morning book study will meet tomorrow (December 3).
Holy Eucharist will be said at St. Gregory’s on Wednesday (December 4) at 6:30 pm.
Wednesday evening Bible Study will meet this week following Wednesday evening’s Eucharist.

The Genealogy Group will go to the Arlington Public Library on Friday (December 6). Those who want to carpool to the Arlington Public Library will meet at the Church no later than 9:00 a.m. Mark Dellenbaugh will meet with us promptly at 9:30 to do an introduction to the genealogy collection and demonstrate how the machines work. Come prepared to do a little research. We will probably stay a couple of hours. Please let Gayle Bradburn know if you are carpooling so you do not get left behind at the Church. If you are going to meet us there, please let Gayle know that as well.
The Men’s Group/Study will meet Saturday, 8am, at Rosa’s.
